கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் நியூ ஆவடி சாலையில் தீப்பிடித்து எரிந்த தனியார் ஆம்புலன்ஸ் கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் லாக் தெருவைச் சேர்ந்தவர் நடராஜன் (78). இவர் முடக்க நோய் சிகிச்சைக்காக ஆந்திர பிரதேசம் மாநிலம் சித்தூரில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவமனைக்கு செல்ல வேண்டி இருந்தது. அங்கு செல்வதற்காக தனியார் ஆம்புலன்ஸ் வாகனத்தை பதிவு செய்து நேற்றிரவு (ஏப்ரல். 5) அவர் வரவழைத்தார். நடராஜனுடன் அவரது மனைவி, மருமகன் சதீஷ் ஆகியோர் சென்றனர். கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் நியூ ஆவடி சாலையில் ஆம்புலன்ஸ் முன்பகுதியில் இருந்து கரும்புகை வெளியேறியது. இதனால் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்த ஆம்புலன்ஸ் ஓட்டுநர் ராபின் நடராஜன், அனைவரையும் கீழே இறங்க வைத்தார். பின்னர் தீயணைப்புத்துறைக்கு தகவல் கொடுத்தார். உடனே வில்லிவாக்கம், கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் தீயணைப்பு நிலையங்களில் இருந்து விரைந்து சென்ற தீயணைப்பு வீரர்கள் தீயை அணைக்கும் முயற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டனர். ஆனால் அதற்குள் வேன் முழுவதும் எரிந்து சாம்பலானது. இதில் யாருக்கும் காயமில்லை. தகவல் அறிந்து கீழ்ப்பாக்கம் காவல் துறையினர் சம்பவ இடத்திற்கு சென்று நடராஜன் உள்ளிட்டோரை ஆட்டோ மூலம் வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். மேலும் தீ விபத்துக்கான காரணம் க...
